One of the most important things to understand from this book is how to enable your reports to take ownership and leadership of their jobs and responsibilities.

I enjoyed reading about the importance of immediate recognition of the top performers and would like to include it if I can.

Also, interesting tidbits about the US submarine force and it is closely linked to How the war was Won book and how it describes the massive effect of air-sea power.
